Formats and quality

The majority of online music stores sell their files in low quality (128 kbps), Pragmazic has a different approach and makes 3 different formats available :

  • le WAV(original CD quality file uncompressed) ;
  • le FLAC (open "lossless" format, no quality loss) ;
  • MP3 ("vbr" encoded/ quality factor 2) ;

 

When you buy and download an album you get :

  • A ZIP(compressed) archive containing : all .Wav files for the album, all back and front printable cover art (150 to 300 dpi) and the license file.
  • A ZIP(compressed) archive containing : all .FLAC files for the album, all back and front printable cover art (150 to 300 dpi) and the license file.
  • Individual mp3 files, id3 tagged with cover art and license included in "comments" section.

 

A DRM free content (Copy protection).

All content available in this store is for obvious reasons free of copy protection measures which blocks interoperability and are not compliant to the spirit of free and open licenses.
